FSU football: Thoughts on ACC’s announced game dates

The First Three Games
I was hoping to have either Samford or Georgia Tech as the first game on the schedule. Well, what do you know?
The Noles open with Georgia Tech and Samford at home. Those are the two most winnable games on the schedule and do a couple of things for the Noles.
It allows them to get two wins, work out some kinks on offense and defense since they missed most of spring and summer, and most of all, build some early confidence heading into the Miami game.
I like FSU will face Miami early in the season after Georgia Tech and Samford. It’s a road game, but it’s not like it’ll be a true road game since there will not be many fans in attendance(not different than the norm).
Miami has to travel to play Louisville the week before they play Florida State. The Noles can use the Samford game to continue preparing for Miami. Miami won’t have that luxury with Lousiville on deck.
The Noles could very well start the season 3-0 and go into a bye week before traveling to Notre Dame.
