FSU football learned its fate in terms of when they would play who Thursday morning. FSU fans react to the news and if the Noles got a raw deal.

FSU football has a tougher schedule with the ACC revamping things due to COVID-19. I gave my thoughts on how tough the schedule was last week but stated the order of the games would be crucial in determining how many games the Noles could win.

FSU fans are jaded when it comes to the ACC with some fearing the Noles would have to open up against Clemson or Notre Dame.

However, they could have asked for better with two home games against Georgia Tech and Samford to start the season. It’s a tough stretch in the middle of the year, but the back-end of the schedule has some games the Noles should win too.

Check out the FSU fan reaction to the dates of the games:

Thoughts

It’s good to see the optimism from FSU football fans after the doom and gloom I saw in anticipation of the dates being-released.

The ability to go into the Miami game undefeated with a lot of confidence can’t be understated, not to mention it won’t be a true road game since there will not be many fans there at Doak South.

Also, who’s to say we’ll even get to the Miami game before something crazy happens with COVID-19. I’ve said it all along, this FSU football team need an opportunity to put a product out on the field to back up what the coaches are telling recruits and their parents.

If only two games happen, it’ll be two games the Noles should win and look impressive. I think getting Miami early in the season increases their chances of winning that rivalry game for the first time since 2016.

All in all, I’m happy with the schedule and will have more thoughts on it a bit later after looking more in-depth on it.
