The Players Put In Work

The word accountability was used a lot last year and would be key in the progress of the players this offseason.

Would the players put in the necessary work when they didn’t have to? Would they hold one another accountable?

Would the coaches be able to hold them accountable? It looks like the answer to that has been a resounding YES.

They have been multiple occasions of the players and coaches posting a video on social media documenting the player working out in the weight room or doing drills on the field.

The players look bigger and stronger physically, and the proof bears out in the amount of weight gained by several players.

There is a physical difference in the players now compared to the past couple of years. It’s not just a couple of players that look like they have made stark improvements.

Summer workouts can be the difference in being good and great, and by all accounts, players are willingly putting in the work.
