FSU football: How tough is FSU’s new 2020 schedule?

Toss Ups
That’s four sure wins and three sure losses which leave four toss-up games on the schedule. Here are the four toss-up games:
- UNC
- Pittsburgh
- Miami
- Louisville
None of these teams won more than eight games last season. UNC is probably the most dangerous team of the four listed. Of course, they have Sam Howell at QB in which all FSU football fans are familiar with from the recruiting trail.
Pittsburgh was limited offensively last season but has arguably the best defensive line in the conference. Miami is Miami.
Louisville is a bit overrated and lost to a Willie Taggart led FSU team last season. I was tempted to put them in the ‘for sure’ win category but figured I’d not be that much of a homer as Scott Satterfield is a good coach and is turning that program around.
Can FSU win two or three of these toss-up games? Two of these games are home, and the other two are away. I think the Noles can beat Pittsburgh and Louisville over 50 percent of the time with all things being equal.
Miami is a rivalry game, and anything can happen, and UNC isn’t as talented, but they lost a lot of close games in 2019. Sam Howell is one of the better quarterbacks in the ACC, too.
I think the Noles can win at least six games out of the 11(counting the Florida game). If they catch a break here and there, I can see them realistically winning seven games.
