Hamsah Nasirildeen

The leading tackler for the Noles the past two seasons, and that’s from the safety position. I suppose that’s both good and bad.

It’s never good when a safety is leading the team in tackles, but it highlights a player who’s willing to clean plays up as the last line of defense.

Nasirildeen led the team with three forced fumbles and tied for the team lead with two interceptions. He returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown.

He’s another player I’m excited to see in Adam Fuller’s defense. He’s someone that can be moved around or closer to the line of scrimmage at times to make more splash plays, which is something this defense needs after only amassing 74 tackles for loss in 13 games last year.
