Donte Lucas

I know you’re surprised to see another offensive lineman on this list, right? Donte Lucas is arguably FSU’s most talented offensive lineman who played as a true freshman last season.

That’s fairly rare in itself and Lucas had his true freshman moments of missing assignments or looking lost at times. However, he was their highest-graded player according to Pro Football Focus.

Lucas was injured during the bowl game and has missed most of the spring in a boot. However, he was shown in a recent FSU video moving around in uniform at practice at seems to be on schedule to play this fall if games are played.

Lucas has all the tools to be one of the better offensive linemen in the conference. He’s physical with a nasty streak, but with him, it’s all about learning the intricacies of the game as he gets more experience.

If that begins to happen, the Noles will have an excellent piece to build around this year and the next.
