Jashaun Corbin

The Noles have a lot of players vying to become the No. 1 running back option for Mike Norvell in 2020.

It’ll still be an attack by committee, but I expect Texas A&M transfer Jashaun Corbin to rise to the top of the pack if he can stay healthy.

He’s coming off a significant injury that cost him most of last season, but he seems to be 100 percent now by all accounts.

I’m not sure if the Noles will be able to replace what Cam Akers meant to the program the past three seasons. However, Corbin seems to be the closest option on and off the field.

He’s a player that physical enough to run between the tackles with enough speed to return kickoffs on special teams. He averaged over 30 yards per return and had one return for a touchdown as a true freshman.

I also think he could be a viable threat in the passing game out of the backfield as Mike Norvell will look to get the ball in his playmakers’ hands in a variety of ways.
