FSU football needs to get stronger in the trenches on both sides of the ball. One FSU commit will be coming to Tallahassee with serious strength.

FSU football has had one of the worst offensive lines in the country over the past several seasons.

They could not hold up in pass protection, and the ability to consistently move defenders out of the way in the run game.

FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins is working to address the talent that’s coming at that position.

It’s up to the FSU strength and conditioning team to help get those players developed to perform at optimal levels. Players on the current roster have shown big improvements since January. Players that needed to add good weight and muscle have done so, and players that needed to lose weight have been successful.

However, it does help when players come from high school ranks with a great work ethic and already performing at high levels. FSU offensive line commit Bryson Estes seems to fit that description.

He posted a video a month ago of him performing power cleans that can be seen below:

That’s pretty good for a player with another year left in high school, right? Well, take a look at what he has done over the last month:

That’s a 15-pound increase in a month and it looks as though he’s doing the added weight easier than a month ago. It could be the lighting, but he looks a little bigger too.

If a coaching staff is unable to land the rare five-star offensive linemen coming out of high school? The players of this mold are the next best thing and often turn into the better offensive linemen in time.

Estes is a three-star offensive center that’s considered the No. 533 player nationally and No. 8 offensive center. He committed to the Noles on June 9 and has been repping them every since.
