FSU football: 3 teams we wanted added to 2020 schedule

FSU and field goals at the end of games seem to have more negatives than positives. That sentiment rang true the last time these two teams matched up in 2016.

The Noles were betting favorites that stormed back from a two-touchdown halftime deficit to take a late fourth-quarter lead.

The FSU defense was carved up through the air with Mitch Tribusky completing 31 of 38 passes for 405 yards and three touchdowns.

UNC received a kickoff with 23 seconds remaining in the game needing a field goal to win. They completed a 23-yard pass and was aided by a pass interference penalty to put them in position for a 54-yard field goal as time expired.

The UNC kicked proceeded to run around Doak Campbell Stadium doing the Tomahawk Chop.

UNC isn’t too far away geographically, not to mention the history with former FSU QB commit Sam Howell, who is the starting QB for UNC.
