Experience

I covered how talented the defense is, and that’s not including some blue-chip reserves and freshmen who could take some snaps away from upper-classmen.

Almost all of those players listed have real game experience and played in at least 10 or more games last year.

That’s a lot of experience and talent in a defense that’s playing a 4-3 scheme most of them are familiar with in Adam Fuller’s defense.

There’s experience at every level from the defensive line, linebackers, and the secondary. There’s the experience on the two-deep too.

This defense is just as talented, if not more talented, than some past defenses that were ranked highly.

All this unit needs is someone at the defensive coordinator position that can coordinate all three levels working together for the common goal of playing effective defense.

I think they have that in Adam Fuller.
