FSU football has ascended up the national recruiting rankings over the past month in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Is it a sign of things to come?

FSU football fans were starting to get antsy as the end of April ended with the ‘Noles recruiting ranking hovering in the ’40s.

The Noles had just five commitments after Jake Slaughter committed on April 12, but one of those commitments was previously committed to the old staff.

So realistically, Mike Norvell had four commitments to his credit with other programs like Tennessee and North Carolina tearing the recruiting trails up.

Not to mention, campus visits were shut down because of the coronavirus and Mike Norvell and staff have only been on the job a four months before that.

They did an excellent job of getting players on campus before the coronavirus, and have leaned on the relationships the coaches had before arriving in Tallahassee.

That’s resulted in the Noles reeling off seven commitments, with four-star defensive back Hunter Washington getting the ball rolling on May 12.

They have 12 commitments thus far and have moved to No. 18 in the nation with more than 10 spots left in the class.

Let’s take a look at who the Noles have added within the last month.
