Fabien Lovett

Much like Jones, Fabien Lovett was thought to be heading to Ole Miss from Mississippi State. However, he ultimately chose to stick with his original decision to transfer to the Noles.

Lovett is a huge addition to the defensive line which will lose production after the 2020 season.

It’s possible they could lose Robert Cooper too. Lovett will need to go through the appeals process like Jones, and I feel the same about his chances of getting a waiver.

Lovett is someone who could play in 2020, but most importantly, he’ll have three years left to play.

His addition will be instrumental in helping Mike Norvell bridge the gap of probably losing Marvin Wilson and Cory Durden after this season since the former staff was unable to bring in elite talent in the trenches.

This gives the staff time to focus on recruiting elite defensive tackles in 2022 and beyond while developing the current players on the roster.
