Separation On Depth Chart

The month of June will be important for a variety of reasons, but none other than creating separation on the depth chart.

As I mentioned, hopefully, the players took heed to the standard Mike Norvell was trying to implement before everything was shut down.

Accountability was one of the first things I wrote about when spring activities were canceled, and we knew players would have to go home and workout on their own.

Competition should be fierce, it’s the environment and culture the coaching staff wants to permeate through the entire program.

Iron sharpens iron, and the players should be chomping at the bit to do anything football related since they’ve been away from the game for so long.

Who’s going to step up and challenge for a spot? Did any players not uphold the standard and leave a crack in the door for a transfer or true freshman to unseat them?

These things will begin to unfold as each workout is evaluated by the coaching staff as they were before the shutdown began.
