FSU football is looking for help in the trenches on both sides of the ball. A three-star offensive lineman has the Noles in his final top five list of schools.

FSU football coaches are looking to add the best players possible to get the program back to where it’s supposed to be.

They have seven commitments and have sent out over 275 scholarship offers for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

The offensive line continues to be a concern as several targets have committed elsewhere.

However, the Noles got some good news Tuesday morning as three-star Bryson Estes released his top five schools. He announced via his Twitter account below:

Estes hails from McDonough, Georgia, and has 30 offers from the likes of FSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn State, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, NC State, Syracuse, Mississippi State, West Virginia, and a host of other schools.

He checks in at 6’3″ and 290 pounds and is considered the No. 521 ranked player nationally, No. 8 offensive center and the No. 41 player in the state of Georgia.

Thoughts on his recruitment

It’s good news for the Noles, but at some point, they are going to have to land these types of players as a large number of their targets have committed elsewhere. Estes is listed as a center but could probably play offensive tackle too which adds to his value.

I’m sure they’ll continue to recruit those players and could make some headway once the season begins and players can visit campus. The Noles have some positives going for them. Estes is located about four hrs north of Tallahassee and can offer early playing time once he is physically ready to play.

They were able to get him on campus the week before the coronavirus shut everything down. He’s visited most of the places he’s listed in his top five so it’ll be interesting to see who’s able to get him back on campus first once things open back up.
