Pick Analysis. RB. Florida State. Jacques Patrick. 8. player. Scouting Report. 804

Career Stats at FSU (15-18)

  • Rushing Yards – 1,790
  • Rushing TD – 17
  • Receiving Yards – 356
  • Receiving TD – 1

This is where the list began to get tough because this is where more of the featured running backs of the last decade began.

There were lots of factors that went into their production, one of the prime factors for Jacques Patrick was playing with Cam Akers and Dalvin Cook his entire four years.

What would his production have been like if he didn’t have to play with those two beasts? Nevertheless, Patrick evolved and became the physical back we all wanted him to be.

I can vividly remember him fighting for first down yardage several times during that woeful 2018 season. He amassed 2,146 yards from scrimmage on 413 plays with 23 touchdowns while averaging 5.2 yards per play.

Patrick went undrafted and played in the now-defunct XFL league with the Tampa Bay Vipers before signing as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals a couple of weeks ago.
