When we’re talking FSU running backs in the last decade, there are some obvious choices we’ll get to later. However, some of the most unheralded players in Jimbo Fisher’s offenses were the fullbacks.

They often didn’t show up on the stats sheet, but for one of the few college offenses that featured a fullback, they were effective for some of the running backs we’ll see later on this list.

Freddie Stevenson’s numbers don’t blow you away, but we have to consider he helped block for Dalvin Cook while he broke the FSU all-time rushing record. H

Not to mention, the few times he did get the ball in his hands he was efficient, scoring touchdowns on 16 percent of the plays he had his number called.

Not too bad for a guy that came to FSU football as a linebacker. Stevenson signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent before playing in the now-defunct AAF league with the Orlando Apollos.
