Asante Samuel Jr.

Asante Samuel Jr. goes into 2020 as the most experienced cornerback on the roster who’ll likely be the starter at the field corner position.

He’s FSU’s best cover cornerback who has a dog mentality to make up for his lack of size at 5’10” and 185 pounds.

His 14 pass breakups last season led the ACC and was tied for eighth nationally. He was the only Power Five defender to notch that many pass break ups with 45+ tackles.

Samuels Jr. has great instincts, and with a good 40 time will likely come off the board in day two or day three of the draft next season.
