FSU football: 6 players that could be drafted in 2021
By Kelvin Hunt
Cory Durden
Another redshirt junior from the 2017 recruiting class is Cory Durden, who’s had some nice flashes at times. The good thing for him is he’s played a lot after finally becoming a starter last season.
He was tied for the team lead with five sacks and had 39 tackles through 13 games, which is a huge increase from the previous year.
Durden was ranked among ESPN’s top 10 defensive tackles going into the 2020 season. He’s improved every season, but I’m excited to see the strides he can make with a defensive coordinator that knows how to coordinate a defense.
He’s got a good motor and pursues plays all across the field with the ability to be disruptive up the middle. If he can get a little more consistency, he’ll likely come off the board fairly early in 2021.
