FSU football coaches continue to heat up the 2022 recruiting trail sending out offers. The latest is a wide receiver from Virginia.

FSU football coaches have been busy on the 2022 recruiting trails during the coronavirus pandemic.

They’ve sent out 118 offers thus far, with nearly half of the offers coming on the offensive side of the ball.

The latest 2022 offer goes to wide receiver Andre Greene Jr. who hails from St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, Virginia.

He is the 21st wide receiver offered in the class and announced the offer via this Twitter account:

Greene Jr. checks in at 6’3″ and 180 pounds with 13 offers from schools like Georgia, Maryland, ECU, Michigan, North Carolina, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

It’s extremely early in the 2022 recruiting cycle, so he doesn’t have a composite ranking, but Rivals does list him as a four-star receiver. However, his offer list is already impressive, with Oklahoma being the first to offer in March of this year.

Thoughts

Greene Jr. tagged FSU wide receiver coach Ron Dugans and Mike Norvell in his offer tweet. Both guys played the position in college and must have liked what they saw on tape.

The young man has great length and is a dual-sport athlete (basketball) while stating he wants to make an immediate impact wherever he chooses to go to college on his Hudl profile.

He’s great at high-pointing the ball in the air and catches the ball well away from his body with his hands. He also shows he’s a willing blocker in the run game which is a good sign in Mike Norvell’s offense.

As with all the offers, the Noles need to get the young man on campus once things get back to normal.
