FSU football is using every tool at its disposal to stay connected with recruits. Check out how recruits are viewing the Noles.

FSU football is looking to get back to the promised land after three consecutive years of sub-par results.

One of the most important aspects of making that happen boils down to recruiting difference-makers on and off the field.

Mike Norvell has shown the ability to put together a coaching staff that can recruit and develop players. One of the most important aspects of recruiting is getting players to visit campus.

Of course, that’s not happening with the coronavirus pandemic and FSU not holding events on campus until August 1st at the earliest.

That’s why the FSU coaching staff is looking for every edge possible in that aspect and offering players a chance to see FSU football without actually visiting for now.

Check out what the coaching staff is showing players virtually to help develop their recruiting relationship:

Thoughts

I think it’s a nice touch and something they must do to give players a taste of what FSU football has to offer. The video can at least spark their interest more and make the actual campus visit more of a possibility when things get back to normal.

One of FSU’s most recent commits, Jake Slaughter, is a prime example of the importance of getting players on campus.

Slaughter visited multiple times and decided to pull the trigger on his commitment because of the relationship he developed with the new staff after getting offered by the old regime.

This proactive approach the new coaching staff is taking is a breath of fresh air and seems to be received well by recruits that have seen it.

They’ve landed three commitments in the past week, all during the temporary dead period, so something tells me they are doing something right.
