Dalvin Cook, running back

Dalvin Cook was selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.

After battling injuries during his first two seasons, Cook finally displayed the talent FSU football fans got accustomed to seeing when he was wearing the garnet and gold.

Cook’s 1,135 rushing yards in 2019 surpassed his total for 2017-18 combined(969 yards), and his total rushing touchdowns (13) surpassed the four he had in his first two seasons.

The same can be said for his production in the passing department where he tallied 53 receptions for 519 yards.

Cook was selected for his first Pro Bowl in 2019 and helped lead the Vikings to an upset win over the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

If he can stay injury-free, Cook has proven to be one of the best running backs in the NFL.
