FSU Basketball Is Recruiting At A High Level

I touched on this topic a bit earlier and how the Noles have had several players drafted along with three first-round draft picks as of late.

If we go back to the 2015 recruiting cycle, there’s a noticeable uptick in recruiting. Here’s a list of some top players they’ve signed from 2015-19:

  • Dwayne Bacon-No. 17
  • Malik Beasley-No. 39
  • Terrance Mann-No. 100
  • Jonathan Issac-No. 6
  • Trent Forrest-No. 70
  • M.J. Walker-No. 28
  • Ike Obiagu-No. 63
  • Patrick Williams-No. 26
  • Balsa Koprivica-No. 77

Also not counted in those are the number of JUCO and lower-rated players that have been developed under Hamilton and staff. Hamilton has the No. 6 player in the nation signed for 2020 in Scottie Barnes. He also has the No. 3 JUCO player signed in Sardaar Calhoun.

When it comes to the 2021 class, No. 51 ranked overall player Bryce McGowens is committed and FSU  just had the No. 15 ranked player overall Kennedy Chandler on campus for a visit a couple of weeks ago. The Noles are also being considered by Matthew Cleveland, who’s the No. 29 ranked player in 2021.
