FSU football has gradually seen its social media presence improve in the last nine months or so. However, the most recent upgrades have been eye-catching.

FSU football was the laughing stock of social media for either a lack of real presence under Jimbo Fisher or terrible ideas/execution of ideas under Willie Taggart.

However, I will give Taggart credit for improving FSU’s social media presence in a sense. He was much more active in the social media world than Jimbo Fisher, but the blunders under his watch overshadowed a lot of the good.

FSU did listen to its fans as they hired “KCamp” last July. He was an FSU football fan on social media putting out better graphics than the official FSU team, particularly when it came to recruiting.

He’s still on board, but Mike Norvell brought in a new Director of Creative Media recently, and the changes have been noticeable.

Kyle Pulek comes to FSU football from the University of Nevada. Let’s check out some of the new graphics and picture combinations that have been implemented recently.

The tweet with the video is a nice touch with the music and capturing the juice the players have at practice. However, it’s the pictures and graphics that have caught my eye recently.

The white backdrop and lighting have worked wonders, and the photo in black and white contrasting beside the color photo in Jaylin White’s tweet is great.

The Philip Riley graphic is nice and I love the “Enter with Hype, Leave Legendary” line with the fans holding up a picture of a GOAT! Small things like that capture the attention of recruits and fans alike.

I also like how FSU football coaches are in the pictures with the recruits more nowadays. The picture with Barrett Carter replicating the famous pic of Deion Sanders was dope too.

It’s great to see FSU’s social media presence notable improvement after seeing them lag for so long. Now, there’s still a ton of room for improvement to catch the likes of LSU and Clemson. However, these upgrades are a huge step in the right direction.
