FSU football has one day in the books with 2020 spring camp. Here are some observations from day one.

FSU football spring practice in the Mike Norvell era is officially underway. The team has been working eight hrs per week in the strength and conditioning phase, with reports of nice weight and strength gains from the majority of the players, according to Mike Norvell’s press conference Friday.

The team will now transition to 20 hours per week as they move to the installation phase of spring camp.

FSU coaches will be working on all three phases, with everything culminating on April 18th at the FSU football spring game.

There has been a different feeling coming from the program since Mike Norvell took over in early December. It’s all about the “Work” while “CLIMBing” and getting “1 percent better” among the coaches AND players.

A lot of FSU football fans seem cautiously optimistic and want to see how they look in a game before they start drinking the kool-aid, and I get it since they’ve been burned the past two years.

However, they can’t play a game until September 5th folks, so we have to discuss something until that can happen.

Until then, here are some key observations from day one of spring practice.
