Field Goal Kicker

The Ricky Aguayo era is officially over and a lot of FSU football fans would say “thankfully” to the sentiment.

Aguayo got progressively worse during his time at FSU after a great start against Ole Miss, making five of five field goals.

He only made 7 of 14 field goals in 2019 and was pulled from kicking extra points at times due to poor performance.  He only made 11 of 17 field goals in 2018.

FSU signed All-American kicker Ryan Fitzgerald in the 2019 recruiting cycle who redshirted last season.

Fitzgerald has a huge leg, making eight 50 yards + field goals his senior season in Georgia. He made a 60-yard field goal as a high school junior as well. How will he perform now that the job is there for the taking?
