FSU football: Why ‘Noles run defense could be elite in 2020

The news of Marvin Wilson, Janarius Robinson, Joshua Kaindoh and Cory Durden returning for 2020 was huge for the defense.

Add in Robert Cooper, and that’s a defensive line that’s among the most talented in the conference, if not the nation.

Think of it like having a monthly car note, finally pay it off but continuing to make the payment to yourself. That would be like a pay raise unto itself, right?

They should give opposing offensive lines all types of problems, not to mention what the young linebacker unit could bring with an upgrade in coaching from Chris Marve.

Those two units should be improved over last year, not to mention they were stout once they got to the ball.

That promising, considering they played games with a defensive coordinator who was handicapped by the head coach.
