FSU basketball played an inspired second-half to dominate Louisville for the second time. FSU fans react to the huge win.
No. 6 FSU basketball (24-4, 14-3 ACC) played one of its best halves of the season to storm back and beat Louisville (23-6, 14-4 ACC) 82-67.
FSU overcame an eight-point Louisville lead at halftime to keep their home-court winning streak intact.
The Noles shot 51 percent overall and were led by Trent Forrest who scored 16 points, including a thunderous dunk over Jordan Nwora to put the final nail in the coffin.
The win gives the Noles sole possession of second place in the ACC and needs another Duke loss to slide into the first place slot.
The Tucker Center was LIVE Monday night, and social media lit up with how the Noles played in the second half.

FSU’s 🏀 team is literally the polar opposite of FSU’s 🏈 team.

Top 5 live sports experience. The Tuck was amazing. Loud as hell. Fans were great. Team had an awful half but played an elite second half. If we put 2 halves together nobody has a shot.

Thoughts
It was a game I felt the Noles had a chance to win despite being down eight points at halftime. The deficit was FSU beating itself, and Louisville making shots at the same rate the Noles made shots in the first game.
I wrote if the Noles could get the deficit down to five points with 10 minutes left to play they’d be fine.
Get this thing down to five with 10 mins to play and we good

The Noles kept coming at the Cardinals in waves, and once they finally took the lead it was a wrap. Man, that was a fun second half and shows people just how good the Noles can be when they are fully involved.
A lot of credit has to go to the FSU basketball fans in attendance too. It was so live I could hear the atmosphere on television.
The Noles have three games remaining against teams they should beat, and they have beaten two of them already. If they could win out and Duke lose it could get the Noles at No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament come March.
