Ja’Khi Douglas

One of the two wide receivers to enroll early is four-star wide receiver Ja’Khi Douglas. Douglas was the No. 286 ranked player overall, No. 45 wide receiver and No. 10 player in Louisiana.

Douglas is player some running back, quarterback and wide receiver in high school. The knowledge and experience in playing those positions should give him a leg up and Mike Norvell could line him up at a variety of positions.

He could also see time on special teams at kickoff return or punt return. Another thing that should help Douglas see the field is he’s physically mature for a wide receiver.

He has a thick build at 5’9 190 pounds but has tremendous speed. Check this out:

It’s going to be hard to keep that type of speed off the field if Douglas can get in the playbook and learn things. We saw how Keyshawn Helton was able to shine some as a true freshman and Douglas could do the same thing.
