The Players Believe in Mike Norvell

If the old staff were still in charge, I’d bet a large sum of money neither Marvin Wilson or Tamorrion Terry would have returned to FSU football in 2020.

Both could have left for the NFL and both would have been drafted. Wilson, likely a first-rounder and Terry likely in the middle rounds.

Either way, both be making much more money in 2020 had that opted to leave than if they returned. Both players have stated Mike Norvell was a big reason they decided to come back.

That’s the best player on offense and defense deciding to return which speaks volumes and creates buy-in from the other players.

Guess what the message is from current players is when recruits visit campus now? It’s things like “things are way different under Mike Norvell” and “you should want to come be a part of helping get FSU back to where it’s supposed to be.”

Recruits that came last year and returned this year have already noticed a difference within the program and how things are run. If players believe in the coaches, that’s when the word accountability comes into play among everyone.
