Most Needed-Chubba Purdy

I put Chubba Purdy here for a couple of reasons. He was one of the highest rated recruits in the class and a quarterback which is one of the biggest positions of need.

It was big to land three-star Tate Rodemaker as he was the first quarterback to sign and early enroll. However, the electricity that came with Purdy’s commitment addressed a lot of things.

It validated Mike Norvell somewhat and filled a huge need at the quarterback position. It helped shift the believe the program was going in the right direction since the Noles hadn’t been able to land a blue-chip recruit in two recruiting cycle.

The timing of the commitment  couldn’t have been better since it took place just 10 days after Norvell was hired and during the Early Signing Period.

Purdy has the opportunity to play early and the potential to be one of the best players in this recruiting class.
