Perception

It began to become a legitimate question with quarterbacks and FSU. The Noles didn’t take a high school quarterback in 2018 or 2019 and the jokes were flying about them missing at the position.

Heck, they couldn’t land a good graduate transfer to come in for a year.

However, Mike Norvell came to FSU in December and signed two legitimate high school quarterbacks in a span of 10 days.

Just over a month later he’s signed one of the better quarterbacks in the 2021 class so that should put that narrative to bed for good now.

Now it’s all about building the 2021 recruiting class around Luke Altmyer as I’m sure he’ll be one of the more vocal players for the Noles.

This 2020 class could be top 10 if the Noles deliver a solid product on the field in 2020. It’s all about perception. If they can win 8-9 games they can began to sell they’re on the way back to the top and players will want to join a class with a great quarterback.

Ultimately they have to win the games first, but having the quarterback of the future this early certainly doesn’t hurt.
