Needs

The biggest question I had for the old regime was if they were going to be able to address the needs on the roster.

They were doing a solid job before Willie Taggart was fired, but they still had a way to go with certain positions on the roster.

The four 3-star recruits I mentioned at the beginning of this piece? They all meet pertinent roster needs at running back, wide receiver, offensive tackle and tight end.

I’d argue Mike Norvell and staff have addressed mostly all of the needs on the roster. The only thing they’re missing is another graduate transfer offensive tackle or graduate transfer defensive end.

The Noles have signed two quarterbacks for the first time since 2017 with one being a blue-chip player in Chubba Purdy. The other quarterback Tate Rodemaker is an early enrollee.

This staff is already addressing things if plan A doesn’t work out like getting a commit from Darion Williamson in the event Malachi Wideman goes elsewhere.

There’s no scrambling on National Signing Day trying to find a replacement which is refreshing considering the past couple of seasons.
