Syracuse

I called Syracuse one of the most overrated teams going into the 2019 season and I was right. The Orange finished with an SP+ ranking of No. 77 in the nation last season.

This program is a prime example of just how quickly a team can turn things around or become one of the worst teams in the conference.

The bad thing about this game is it’s a road game on a Thursday night. So the Noles will be taking on the Orange with short rest after hosting Boston College.

The other thing to remember is the Noles will face arch-rival Florida after the Syracuse game. It’ll be easy for the Noles to overlook Syracuse because they were so terrible last season.

It happens every year with teams sleepwalking against an opponent with a rival on deck only to wind up in a fight to the death.

The Noles will be the more talented team, but these Thursday night games are usually sloppy and weird things tend to happen.

Remember Clemson almost losing to NC State a few years back?
