Final Thoughts

This is what can happen when a coach loses his program the way Jimbo Fisher did. This 2017 recruiting class was ranked No. 6 overall by the composite rankings.

Instead of being a class that helped FSU football stay among the elite, it became one that contributed to a ton of dead weight on the roster.

Almost 40 percent of the class never contributed or already left the program? There was some bad luck injury in there, but over all it’s a poor job of evaluating and taking bodies instead of looking for quality players.

There’s probably six out of 23 players signed who will get drafted by an NFL team. That’s amazing it could happen at a proud program like FSU football. Not to mention this class followed the 2016 class that only had ONE impact player in Brian Burns.

I’d have to give this recruiting class a massive D based on how much talented was wasted.
