CFB Championship: 3 reasons Clemson upsets LSU
By Kelvin Hunt
Conclusion
This should be great game as we have the No. 1 (LSU) offense going up against the No. 1 defense (Clemson)
I’m going to write about this later, but one concern is LSU has a huge edge in the special teams phase of the game.
Clemson will not be going into this game unsure of themselves or “scared” of LSU like a lot of teams. They’ve been there several times, beaten Alabama in past years and coming from a huge deficit against Ohio State.
Confidence goes a long way in any sport and Clemson will go into this one knowing they have the best defense LSU will have faced.
They also know they have an offense that’s capable of putting up a lot of points as they’ve averaged 45.3 ppg.
Like most games between two great teams it’ll likely come down to who makes the less mistakes/turnovers. If Clemson can stay even or win the turnover battle I definitely like them to win this game straight up.
