FSU football has a long history of great college football players with some of them being listed in ESPN top 150 college players of all time.
FSU football and ESPN have always seemed to have a love/hate relationship. When the Noles are at the top folk love to hate.
If the Noles are having a down year(which haven’t been many) they are still the program folks love to hate.
All you have to do is look at how a lot of the media always disrespects the 2013 FSU football team when talking about the greatest college football teams of all time.
ESPN is unveiling their list of the top 150 greatest players in college football history. So far there have been five former Noles to make the list which is amazing in and of itself.
Congrats to our FIVE Noles already included in ESPN’s countdown of the 150 greatest players in college football history.#OneTribe https://t.co/XOibN6WjDb pic.twitter.com/bQsRkSu7Mz

- Deion Sanders-No. 26
- Fred Biletnikoff-No. 83
- Derrick Brooks-No. 115
- Charlie Ward-No. 130
- Warrick Dunn-No. 134
I’m sure every school has some type of argument about who should be listed and how highly ranked.
I mean how in the world is Emmit Smith 64 spots higher than Warrick Dunn? I know he played one more year in college, but Dunn averaged a full yard more per rush, had way more touchdowns and helped the Noles win a national title.
But I digress, what I really want to talk about is where are a lot of the other Nole greats on the list? It looks as though FSU football fans want to know too.
Fan Reaction

No way you can convince me that Andrew Luck, Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield, and Marcus Mariota we’re better QB’s than Jameis in College.

Dalvin but it’s too soon and he never got the National credit deserved

Thoughts
That’s just a few as I’d even put Roberto Aguayo in the conversation for college kickers. I also think Terrell Buckley deserves to be on this list and I’m probably missing a couple others.
This isn’t to say some of those names won’t be in the top 25 that’s left but I’m not holding my breath.
