Impact Players

It’s crazy to think with the number of highly ranked players in the class that only ONE can be classified as an impact player.

That guy would be the fourth highest ranked player in four-star defensive end Brian Burns. Burns just completed his rookie season in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and was named one of the top 10 rookies in the league.

He was drafted with the No. 16 overall pick of the 2019 NFL  Draft.

Burns finished his FSU career with 23.5 sacks which ties him for seventh all-time in ‘Noles history in just three seasons.

He led the nation in QB hurries his junior season while getting double teamed most of the time. He was good immediately, leading all freshmen with 9.5 sacks and was named a Freshman All-American by several publications.
