Accountability

Here’s the most important part and it’s a word we heard a lot from the last regime. Who is going to hold people accountable?

It’s something we haven’t had time to see yet from Norvell since he’s only been at FSU like 27 days which includes Christmas!

Accountability, coupled with good coaches and buy-in are how UNC went from two wins to seven wins in one season. I watched a number of North Carolina games this year ( I live 40 minutes from Chapel Hill) and I saw a team that played for each other.

I saw a team that played for and trusted their coaches, and I saw a team although not as talented easily could have won eight games. They lost two games in overtime and another against No. 1 Clemson that they should have won.

Mike Norvell has already shown he’s reached the players as a number of players who were not expected to return in 2020 have already announced they plan to do so.

Now it’s about getting them to buy-in to his full vision and putting in the work in strength and conditioning. They need to put in the work in the film room.

Credit has to go to Willie Taggart as he did clean up the academic side of things as players were going to class and doing reasonably well.
