Graduate Transfer Route

Mike Norvell has said on the record he’s not going to pursue a graduate transfer quarterback. However, he may be reconsidering that after what he saw in the bowl game.

There’s a number of options out there to choose from as Wake Forest’s Jamie Newman has entered the transfer portal.

There are rumors Norvell’s former quarterback at Memphis Brady White could be a graduate transfer.

It would make sense for Norvell to go this route, especially if it’s Brady White since he’s had multiple years in his system while at Memphis.

I mean Memphis doesn’t play the same level of competition as FSU football, nor was their offensive line as bad. However, I expect Mike Norvell to put a ton of attention on improving the offensive line.

If they can be even serviceable, having a quarterback that’s familiar with the system would be an excellent stop-gap while allowing Rodemaker and Chubba Purdy to potentially redshirt and learn the system while they get bigger and stronger.
