Final Thoughts

FSU missed out on former commit four-star defensive end Morven Joseph who ultimately choose Tennessee.

However, that was really the only somewhat disappointing news of the day as some felt there was an outside shot he’d pick FSU since they were able to get him on campus last week.

It wasn’t a total surprise he didn’t pick FSU and at least he didn’t choose the Gators. All in all, it was about as good as one could hope for with the new coaching staff only being on the road bout 10 days or so.

I think Wednesday announced that FSU football could have a formidable coaching staff on the recruiting trails provided they can show progress on the field in 2020. It’s clear they have a plan and they’re executing that plan thus far.

What’s going to be interesting is how they will finish up this class on National Signing Day in early February. They still need offensive tackles, likely one or two more running backs, one or two more linebackers and at least one more defensive tackle and defensive end.

In the end FSU could wind up with 10 more commitments if they find enough quality players.
