Thoughts

Arizona State finished the season strong with back-to-back wins. The last win was a 10 point win over rival Arizona, but their biggest win was a huge upset of No. 6 Oregon the week prior.

The Sun Devils are coached by former NFL football coach Herm Edwards who’s in his second season. They finished last season (7-6) with a loss against Fresno State in the Las Vegas Bowl.

FSU football is a team who has been ravaged with injuries all season and will have a few starters who could sit out the game if they decide to prepare for the NFL Draft. Running back Cam Akers and Tamorrion Terry would be two players who fit the bill.

It’s expected Odell Haggins will coach the bowl game with Mike Norvell pounding the recruiting trails and assembling his new staff. It’s expected Odell Haggins will remain on staff at this time.

A fun fact is new coach Mike Norvell used to coach at Arizona State.
