Final Thoughts

I’m not saying James Franklin is a realistic option for the Noles. There’s been interest and reports the two camps have had communications.

As I mentioned, Penn State’s loss to Ohio State seems fill the narrative Franklin has reached the ceiling at Penn State.

Florida State is a place he could go to and win big. Heck, FSU won a championship six years ago and made the inaugural college football playoff five-years ago.

He’d be in a recruiting hotbed with a program that seems to be going the route of fully committing to winning again.

He already has experience rebuilding programs and that would help expedite things along with his experience recruiting the state of Florida.

The good thing about James Franklin is his buyout is reportedly only one million dollars to leave Penn State. I know USC is in play here if they decide to fire their head coach.

Franklin would be a name that would generate excitement, a very good recruiter and the experience needed to bring FSU back.

IF Franklin wants to leave Penn State, FSU shouldn’t hesitate to make a play for him as he’s the option.
