Can Willie Taggart Fix It?

Man, I don’t know. Is the fix as simple as finding a QB, fixing the offensive line and a new defensive coordinator?

Well, I think he’s got a third of the problem that solved Jim Leavitt on staff as he’ll mostly likely be the new defensive coordinator after this season.

Then it comes down to finding a QB (unless they go with early enrollee true freshmen Jeff Sims) and 2-3 offensive linemen on the graduate transfer market. However, that’s going to be affected by how the Noles finish the season.

If they implode and finish 5-7 or 6-6 it’s highly unlikely they’ll be able to attract the players needed to make a difference.

Teams are constantly going to be able to negatively recruit against the Noles based on instability and disorganization.

It feels like the Noles are in a constant flux of mediocrity at the moment with the inability to get out of that rut.

The good news is the players are still playing hard for Willie Taggart despite not having the desired results on the field. How long is that going to last though?

What will the home crowd for the Syracuse game look like? It’s Homecoming so that should help, but another turnout like the Louisville game would be ominous.
