Boston College

Listen, Boston College isn’t very good but it is a road game in which the Noles have struggled with in the past. They shutout Boston College on the road in 2015, but got quit in a 35-3 loss there in 2017.

Boston College has taken a step back defensively this year and struggle offensively as everything continues to revolve around AJ Dillon.

SP+ metrics have them ranked as the No. 74 team in the nation. Their best win is a 35-28 score against an awful Virginia Tech team in the season opener and have to play Syracuse and Clemson on the road prior to hosting the Noles.

They lost a high scoring game against Louisville Saturday to drop to 3-3 on the season.

It’s quite possible they’ll be ranked even lower than they are right now. This is a game FSU football has no business losing even though it’s on the road.

The Noles do play Miami prior to the Boston College game, so there’s a chance of a letdown if the Noles fail to beat the Canes.
