FSU football: Noles offer several players from 2021 class
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football coaches are making good use of the bye week to visit current commits and extend offers to 2021 players.
FSU football is coming off a huge win over NC State last week to improve its record to 3-2 with a showdown with Clemson on deck next week.
The NC State win was huge as it puts them in a great position to reach a bowl game and possibly seven or eight wins on the season.
That’s the type of progress needed to keep the current 2020 recruiting class together while attracting talent from the 2021 class and beyond.
FSU wrapped up its bye week of practice and FSU coaches hit the road to visit some current commits while extending offers to others.
2021 safety Dakota Mitchell gets a FSU offer.
2022 safety Alfonso Allen Jr. gets a FSU offer
2021 three-star wide receiver Troy Stellato gets a FSU offer.
Thoughts
The FSU football coaching staff has done an excellent job with the 2021 recruiting class that’s currently ranked No. 10 nationally. They just need to finish the season strong and that class should hold together pretty well for the most part.
That should allow the staff to put more time and effort on the 2021 class and beyond. They have already offered 136 recruits in that class which is well ahead of the pace they set for 2020.
You’ll remember we documented how the staff had to play catch up due to the old regime not recruiting for much of the 2018 recruiting cycle.
That put them behind on 2019 and some of 2020, but it looks like they’ve finally closed the gap created by the old staff.
Now, it’s all about closing strong on the 2019 season on the field to show these players progress on achieving Willie Taggart’s vision is being made.
