Cyrus Fagan

Where has this guy been the past few years? Well, injuries have slowed Cyrus Fagan a bit during his time in Tally, but the junior defensive back finally seems to be putting things together.

After five games he’s already surpassed his entire total of tackles from last season with 28, with 22 of them being solo stops.

He had a huge interception in the red zone against Louisville which likely saved the ‘Noles season at the time.

The turnover allowed the FSU offense to go down and score to regain the lead and never look back after blowing another 21 point lead in the second half.

He also had a huge fumble recovery against NC State Saturday night as the Wolfpack looked to be marching down the field.

The crazy thing is Fagan could be much higher on this list if he could catch balls thrown right to him. He could easily have three more interceptions on the season but has failed to get that free money as they say on this defense.

Fagan has been a pleasant surprise thus far but Willie Taggart did mention him as a player that had a good fall camp prior to the season starting.
