Limit Turnovers

I’ve talked about it so much I know all the stats by heart. FSU football didn’t have a single game in 2018 where they didn’t turn the ball over.

In fact, they had two or more turnovers in eight of their 12 games, including two or more turnovers in the last five games of the season.

Guess what? The trend continues as the Noles have had multiple turnovers in both games this year. They’ve turned it over five times in 31 possession, and luckily have had huge leads when most of the turnovers have taken place.

I’ve already mentioned how the UVA defense is opportunistic and forced a lot of turnovers last year. If you turn it over against bad teams and almost lose you certainly can’t do that against good teams.

UVA perfers to play more of a control the game type of offense so every possession is going to count.

If the Noles simply don’t turn the ball over on offense I would up their chances of winning this game to at least 50 percent.
