FSU football has a huge game in their 2019 opener against Boise State. I look at five keys to victory for the Noles.

FSU football is basically facing a must-win game Saturday against Boise State. A win here could do wonders for a program and fan base thirsty for success.

A loss would be devastating and would undo all of the good will Willie Taggart has rebuilt after putting this program in a great position in the offseason.

The team seems to be focused at the task at hand. They have experience at almost every position and blue chip players on both sides of the ball.

It’s not a question of if the Noles have the talent to beat the Broncos. They had talent all across the board last year too.

The biggest issue will be if they can avoid self-inflicted wounds in 2019. The Noles had way too many instances of putting themselves in bad situations last year.

Whether it was procedural penalties or turnovers deep on their own side of the field, or making the terrible decision to bring a kickoff deep out of the end zone only to get tackled at the 15 yard line.

If they don’t beat themselves they should win this game and are the betting favorites. Let’s get into the five keys to victory for the Noles.
