Depth/Inexperience

Although the team returns starters on both sides of the ball, there are still a few areas where depth is a concern.

Linebackers-The Noles have Dontavious Jackson and Jaiden Lars-Woodbey returning in 2019. True freshman Jaleel McRae will likely get reps with Amari Gainer and Leonard Warner taking on more of an edge rusher role. The Noles brought in a solid group of freshmen linebackers in 2018

Offensive line-The offensive line starting five will likely almost be a brand new starting five from a year ago.

Defensive Tackle– There’s a huge drop off in experience when Marvin Wilson, Cory Durden and Robert Cooper are not in the game.

Defensive End-The Noles lost their best pass rusher when Brian Burns left for the NFL. They have unproven but talented players in Joshua Kaindoh and Janarius Robinson. This is one reason the Noles could be playing more 3-4 on defense.
