Conclusion

This is Willie Taggart’s second full recruiting cycle and the first time the staff has been able to get ahead of the game when it comes to meeting needs with quality targets prior to the season starting.

The importance of this can’t be understated and the Noles having a strong season on the field could swing things their way with a couple of other blue chip targets.

Having almost all of their needs met allows the staff to be ultra-selective going forward, spending more time on the top targets remaining at each position of need.

FSU football will likely take anywhere from 5-7 more commits in the 2020 class. There’s a good chance they end up with nearly 60 percent of the class consisting of blue chip prospects.

That will be good enough to keep the Noles ahead of everyone in the ACC except Clemson, but it’ll likely be another year or so before they can realistically challenge the Tigers.
